In recent history the ARU changed the rules to allow a certain number of foreign
players and developing foreign players to join Australian teams in the Super Competition. There have been a number of players come and go and only a few that have left a lasting impression and will be remembered in Super Rugby history.

With Nathan Sharpe retiring from Rugby at the end of the Super Rugby season the Force will be down to 6 members of the inaugural Squad of 35 players; Richard Brown, Cameron Shepherd, Pek Cowan, David Pocock and myself are the legacy of the squad hand picked by John Mitchell. Since the first season in 2006, 88 players have earned a Super cap for the Force.
